The first story driven DLC for Mass Effect, dubbed Omega, will be releasing on November 27th. Along with said DLC, gamers will meet their first female Turian.
The word around the extranet is that this female Turian is called Nyreen Kandros, the leader of the mercenary group, Talon. She is ex-military and also a biotic. Female Turians have been seen in the Mass Effect comics but this is the first time one will be in the forefront.
Omega will be double in size as far as Mass Effect DLC go and the most expensive so far, listed at $15 for purchase. Not only will a female Turian make an appearance, Shepard will also be teaming up with Omega’s strong willed Aria T’loak as the battle for Omega begins. With two biotics on your team, taking back Omega should be a breeze. Omega should last you about four hours, with four missions and side missions where you can upgrade Aria’s drug smuggling operations. You will not be able to take your fellow squad mates with you on this adventure against Cerberus. Once you get the mission at the nightclub Purgatory, Shepard is off to Omega to help Aria fight off General Oleg Petrovsky.
