Mad Catz, one of the leading providers of third-party console accessories, recently announced two new Wii controllers, with each product coming in standard and micro versions.
While many are inherently suspicious of third-party controllers, Mad Catz designed this line of accessories to ensure top build quality, aesthetically pleasing design and a soft outer shell that provides a tactile feel. Furthermore, Mad Catz is providing a five-year warranty to give consumers support in the event of a malfunction.
The first controller in the new line is the Mad Catz Reactor Plus. The device has built-in Motion Plus technology to ensure optimal performance and precise response to users’ commands. The device also has Mad Catz’s patented grip technology and fits the Motion Plus package in the same size as a standard Wii controller.
Mad Catz’s other controller, dubbed Reflex, acts as a complementary device to the Reactor Plus or a standard Wii controller. Its primary purpose is to act as an analog stick, and it features a rubberized exterior to maximize a user’s ability to grip and manipulate the device.
Both controllers are slated for release in full and micro-sized versions, with the full-size products releasing in February 2011 and the micro versions arriving in March.
