Quite possibly one of the greatest professional wrestling legends of all-time, “Macho Man” Randy Savage has been confirmed for WWE ’12. Legends live forever.
Whether you know him as the “Macho Man” or the “Macho King,” Randy Savage was one of those guys that you couldn’t stop watching when he was on the TV. His interviews were wild and off-beat, but charming all at the same time. As soon as you heard the first notes of his “Pomp & Circumstance” entrance music, you knew you were about to witness something special. There’s a reason that after 25 years, his match against Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat at WrestleMania III is still wildly considered one of the greatest American pro-wrestling matches of all-time. Randy Savage was a perfectionist in everything he did and it showed through. Even though he’s now gone after a tragic passing earlier this year, the maddness will never die.
Even if you weren’t a professional wrestling fan, I’m sure many of you remember his numerous Slim Jim commercials back in the 1990s. Even those were a huge hit. He truly transcended entertainment.

Now if only we can get Randy Savage in the WWE Hall of Fame…
