Lost Planet 3 Release Date Announced

The next installment to the Lost Planet series will be released in North America on June 25th, and Europe on June 28th. Lost Planet 3 will be returning to the extreme conditions introduced in the original Lost Planet that characterized the series.

Jim Peyton will return to E.D.N. III as NEVEC continues to seek the natural resource of T-Eng energy on the planet. In the trailer that can be viewed down below, Jim finds himself down an icy fissure. The fall leaves Jim unconscious and injured, but upon waking up he finds a secret base hidden below the surface. Jim comes to realize that NEVEC are not the only human inhabitants on the planet. Snow Pirates are also living on E.D.N. III.

Did Jim find himself on hostile territory, or did he gain some new allies for NEVEC?

Take a look at the Lost Planet 3 trailer, as well as some screenshots down below.

Lost Planet 3 is being developed by Capcom, and will be releasing for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on June 25th (North America) and June 28th (Europe).
