The Chaos Spectrum tackles stigma itself to become a top gaming mouse that is also wireless.
Logitech already has themselves some of the best gaming hardware you can attach to your computer, but now the company is attempting to push a lag-free wireless mouse that would be the first of its kind.
The Chaos Spectrum will be the latest in the G series and will feature only a one-millisecond’s worth of input lag and a battery that can last up to 32 hours. Both of these features were enough to gain a nod from professional eSports teams that are apparently tired of the cords that felt mandatory until now. “They wish they had the freedom of wireless but the performance and reliability of a wired mouse,” says Ujesh Desai, Logitech’s vice president and general manager of gaming. “G900 delivers on this promise, and we’re confident it’s the best gaming mouse we’ve ever built.”
This mixture of convenience and performance deals out the pain without smoothing or filtering and is able to scroll across the DPI range from 200 to 12,000. Buttons along the mouse will have a crisp click that will allow for faster recovery between inputs, and will be as comfortable for right-handers as it will be for lefties. It’s also designed to be lightweight and customizable between lighting colors and magnetic button covers.
This magical device will be available in the United States and Europe from Logitech beginning in April of this year and will run for $149.99 and €179 respectively. Go to Logitech’s site, or the video above, to see a few more details.
