It’s been about a month since the release of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight. It looks like it’s going to be a while until the PC version is made available again.
Batman: Arkham Knight released last month on June 23rd. However, the PC version of the game had to be pulled from Steam because the game had so many problems and was unplayable.
Many PC gamers have been hoping that the PC version would have been fixed by now have been waiting for the game to be made available for purchase on Steam. However, it looks like it’ll be at least a few months until the game will be on PC again. A leaked email shows the game won’t be available anytime soon.
“As previously advised,” read an internal EB Games email via Kotaku Australia, “we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released.”
As noted by Kotaku, Spring in Australia is about 2 months away. It looks like we won’t see the game on PC until at least September.
