Here we are again, and we’re about a month away from the beginning of fall. Xbox Live Gold members have access to four free games for a limited of time that is part of Games with Gold. So let’s check out what Microsoft has set for members in August.

Portal Knights
First game we have up in this month’s Games with Gold is Portal Knights. This title is an independent survival action-role playing game that is developed by Keen Games and published by 505 Games. The world of Elysia that is currently torn apart and terrorized by Hollow King needs you and your team!
Level up and forge your hero together while crafting unique weapons to eliminate your enemies in real-time. With various randomly generated islands with amazing structures to create, take on the quest to become the ultimate Portal Knight!
Override: Mech City Brawl
Second game we have for August’s lineup is Override: Mech City Brawl. Take control of gigantic robots and fight it out in this 3D mech brawler. There is many epic battles that await in either a local or online versus mode. Play in a single-player game or up to 4-player Co-op while you and your friends operate one part of the mech.
There are at least 12 huge customizable mechs to pilot with their own special abilities. Move throughout the cities and wreck havoc in environments that are inspired by real life locations in order to become the top mech pilot. Now is your chance!
MX Unleashed
Third game in this month’s Games with Gold is MX Unleashed. This game is a freestyle motorcycle title that was released during the Xbox 360 era. There is plenty of replay factor that can get pretty addicting with performing stunts and crazy tricks on huge, dangerous tracks. Unlock awesome game secrets throughout multiple freestyle and supercross venues. MX Unleashed is an enormous off-road sandbox playground!
Red Faction II
Last, but not least to finish up August’s lineup is Red Faction II. This is a classic first-person shooter developed by Volition and published by THQ set in twenty-second century Earth. Overthrow the corrupt dictator, Sopot, that’s been running the government for the last 15 years.
It’s been five years since the rebellion on Mars, and the oppressed people of the Commonwealth are finally rising up. Band together a group of super soldiers that have specialties in various forms of destruction. Use your group to destroy the crooked government in order to restore peace to the land once and for all!
