Killzone 3 Multiplayer Standalone and Free Next Week (PlayStation 3)

According to the PlayStation Blogcast, starting next Tuesday a standalone version of Killzone 3’s multiplayer will be downloadable from the PlayStation Network, for free! This version of the game will feature a level cap, after which you can purchase the rest of the multiplayer for $15. I think this is a really smart business model. Being able to play for free is great, but even $15 is a good price compared to the normal price of $60, and by giving players a free full experience up to the level cap, they can decide for themselves if the continued experience is worth their money.
