Journey – Multiplayer GamePlay Trailer

The creators of Flower, ThatGameCompany, have what seems be another hit on their hands with Journey. As you watch the video below, you can see that Journey is quite a unique experience.

In Journey you will explore a large open desert, where you will have the option to play by yourself or accompany a friend. Other gamers will also have the ability to follow you, and join your quest. If you happen to be playing by yourself and get a little lonely, you can walk until you see someone and just follow them, and turn it a co-op experience. ThatGameCompany has truly mastered in my opinion, drop-in/drop-out, co-op. In the trailer below it shows two people playing together and only communicating through chimes. The reason player’s only communicate through chimes is because Journey does not allow talking in the game at all.

If you’re interested in a truly unique experience then definitely check out Journey when its available. The game has no set release date as of yet, but is expected to be out by early next year.
