January's Games with Gold for Xbox Live Offers an Irresistible Trio of Titles

As part of Microsoft’s Games with Gold program, which offers Xbox Live Gold subscription members one free Xbox One game and two free Xbox 360 games a month, January’s games have been revealed and they are definitely the greatest trio we’ve seen yet.

Let’s cut down to the chase. January will be offering Dark Dreams Don’t Die (D4) for free on Xbox One all month. Gamers have been raving about this twisted title since it’s debut launch in September, so it’s definitely worth checking out Access Games‘ episodic, detective-styled narrative.

On the Xbox 360 side of things, gamers will be able to download MX vs. ATV: Alive for free from January 1st through January 16th. Racing fans will be content, no doubt!

When that game’s promotion expires, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will take over as the free download for the rest of the month. This is a perfect opportunity to jump in on Geralt’s adventures right before the launch of CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in May of 2015.

What do you make of January’s line up? We’re pretty excited for the trio of games. It seems each title covers a distinct genre and with no charge necessary, it’s definitely worth spending at least a couple of hours with each title. January just got a whole lot better!
