Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Now Available

If you held out on getting Injustice: Gods Among Us because you thought there’d be an “Ultimate Edition” released with all of the game’s DLC, then your waiting is over. Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is now available on PS3, PC, PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox 360. Notably absent are the Wii U version (probably due to low sales of the original release) and the Xbox One version (no idea why they’re skipping Microsoft‘s next-gen box).

As the game’s launch trailer shows, you get a whole lot of value for your $59.99 ($49.99 on PC), as you get all of the game’s previously released DLC, including the six characters added after launch and more than 40 extra character skins. That’s an additional $60 worth of content for free, so again, congrats on your patience, if you waited.

If you buy Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition in stores, you’ll also get the game’s soundtrack, “featuring an exclusive song from Jane’s Addiction titled “Another Soulmate” and 11 songs from popular artists ranging from Depeche Mode to AWOLNATION,” according to the press release sent to us by WB Games and Netherrealm Studios.

We loved the original release, so if you’re a DC Comics fan – or just love fighting games – you probably won’t want to miss out on this one.
