Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Arena | Final Round Announced

When WB Games and Netherrealm Studios announced the Battle Arena series to promote Injustice: Gods Among Us, everyone already had a pretty good idea what two DC Comics characters would end up in the final round.

Everybody was right – as these videos show, Batman somehow beats the Flash (above) while Green Lantern falls to Superman (below), setting up the comic nerd fight most prevalent online: Superman vs. Batman.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Arena lets fans vote for who they think would win in a series of hero vs. hero, hero vs. villain, and villain vs. villain fights, while also getting entered into drawings for prizes like a copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us, an arcade fight stick, comics, action figures, and more. Every week host Taryn Southern has had such guests as Arrow star Stephen Arnell, comic book legends Jim Lee and Stan Lee (no relation), and more weigh in with their picks.

As a Superman fan, I’m not even hesitant to say Batman will win in the final round, with opens up for voting at the game’s website next week. This is the Internet we’re talking about here; it’s not even going to be close.

Injustice: Gods Among Us lands on store shelves April 16, 2013 for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
