IndieCade East Sets Up in NYC Feb. 15-17

This marks the first time that IndieCade has visited the east coast, so get ready to enjoy some sweet indie games in NYC!

IndieCade East is being held at the Museum of the Moving Image and will feature 27 awesome indie games as well as workshops, panels, and tournaments. The upcoming, exciting, futuristic Oculus Rift will also be there to check out.

At the Museum through March 3rd there will also be an exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of video games called, “Space war! Video Games Blast Off.”

But wait, there’s more!

Guests include Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP creator Kris Piotrowski and Johann Sevastien Joust creator Doug Wilson.

It’s sure to be a fun time; they are video games after all. It’s hard for me to not support events like this. Going to conventions and seeing and playing games with people who are just as interested in the games as you are is a great experience. If you have the opportunity, make sure to check it out.

Admission prices vary with a full 3 day IndieCade East pass being $60 for students and museum members or $80 for the general public. Single day options are less but also vary upon the day, see this page for all the pricing info.
