This Incredible Custom PC Raises Money for a Cause

Custom gaming rigs can be a thing of beauty. We’re certainly no strangers to building fanatical rigs here at The Game Fanatics, but we have to share a thing of beauty when we come across one. This impressive machine is the child of cooperation between NVIDIA and custom PC builders Falcon Northwest. So if you’re looking to get a one-of-a-kind custom PC, this could be right up your alley.

The computer features NVIDIA’s powerhouse GeForce GTX Titan Black GPU, an Intel Core i7-4770K CPU, the ASYS z87 Maximus motherboard loaded with 16GB of GSKILL DDR3 memory and 2 Crucial 1TB M50 SSDs. If you haven’t guessed yet, this machine is packing some serious firepower. But it doesn’t stop there. The case is a custom designed Falcon Northwest Tiki chassis finished in NVIDIA green and featuring a laser cutout window to really show off the stunning Titian GPU.

But there’s something else that makes this really special. It’s not a computer that was built simply for the purpose of making one lucky owner the focus of much envy; this computer was built with a very specific purpose. NVIDIA has stated that 100% of the proceedes from the auction will be going to charity.

“We’re now auctioning this amazing system to raise funds for the Philip Scholz Memorial Foundation, honoring an NVIDIA brother who was tragically killed earlier this year when he heroically removed an individual from train tracks and was hit.”

Philip Scholz gave his life in an incredible act of selflessness and the foundation was established in his name to carry on his legacy. The foundation provides scholarships to needs-based youth and encourages outdoor sports and activities including Philip’s favorite way to pass the time, baseball.

The current bid for this astounding machine is $6,610.00 and if you’re interested be sure to check out the official eBay listing.
