Iggy and Scorch Burning It Up In Paragon

Paragon‘s new hero, Iggy & Scorch, is available to play during the Paid early access. The character comes with some cool fire based abilities.

Iggy rides atop of a beast named Scorch to form Paragon’s newest caster hero. A video uploaded by Paragon’s Youtube account details the pair’s ability to use oil to deal damage. The main draw of using the hero is to control lanes by setting up flame turrets and dousing large areas of the arena in oil and then lighting it up. The massive fire damages all enemies caught in the crossfire. The oil slicks can also be used to gain a small burst of speed, which leaves oil trailing behind you; this creates more opportunities for fire damage. Additionally, when Iggy feeds Scorch a molotov cocktail, the beast breaths fire. Following the fire, Scorch unleashes a powerful belch, which pushes enemies away.  This hero is made for players who want to set up traps and lure their enemies into bad situations.

You can find demonstrations of the aforementioned abilities in the video below:

For those who are attending PAX East — which starts tomorrow — Paragon will be playable at the Sony PlayStation booth. The booth is #8044 and is in the Expo Hall. If you want to learn more about the recent developments to the game, Steve Superville, the creative director, will be appearing on the Twitch Live stage on Friday, April 22nd at 12:00 P.M. He will also be providing a walk-through of Paragon’s replay system.

Paragon is a new third person MOBA developed by Epic games using the Unreal 4 engine. Currently, the game is in paid early access, but there is a planned free beta coming this summer. You can find out more by heading to the game’s official website. The game will be available to play on PlayStation 4 and windows.
