Today on February 19, 2013, HTC announced simultaneously in London and New York City a brand new flagship smartphone named HTC One. The HTC One is crafted with a distinct zero-gap aluminum uni-body: a phone body that will prevent dust or other debris inside, and a plethora of new features to go along with it.
The HTC One has three key features: HTC BlinkFeed ™, HTC Zoe ™, and HTC BoomSound ™. Of the three, HTC BlinkFeed ™ located on the smart phones home screen acts as your personal live stream of information that is relevant to you. HTC BlinkFeed ™ receives information from over 1,400 sources globally, so you’ll always be up to date with current events. There is no doubt in my mind it will be treasured among media socialites.
HTC Zoe ™ gives you the ability to shoot high resolution photos in three second bursts, which then can be turned into a moving gallery. HTC Zoe ™ will automatically create integrated highlight films that can be set to different themes and remixed should you choose to do so. The staggering amount of features the HTC One brings to the table will undeniably change what’s expected of smart phones in the future.
HTC is one of the few smart phone manufactures that still manage to push the envelope when it comes to hardware. I still remember when everyone was nearly killing each other for the HTC EVO 4 G, maybe lightning will strike twice with the HTC One, who knows?
