It was a shot heard around the basketball world as rookie, Troy Daniels, saved the Houston Rockets’ season with a thrilling three-point basket. NBA 2K’s Twitter account announced that he will be added to the game in an upcoming roster update.
Daniels, who’s only played 6 NBA games and spent most of this season in the NBA D-League, stepped up to the plate when given some crucial minutes in a decisive playoff game. Dubbed the “Sniper From the Vipers”, the 6’4″ Shooting Guard from Virginia has an established record as a three-point specialist. He set the record for career three-pointers made at VCU, he eventually went undrafted and was waived by both the Bobcats and the Rockets before landing in the D-League where he set the record for most single-season three-pointers, and tied the single game record for the same achievement. All this to say that we expect Troy Daniels’ outside shooting and three-point rating in NBA 2K14 to be pretty damn high.
.@HoustonRockets' rookie Troy Daniels will be added to #NBA2K14 in an upcoming roster update scheduled for later tonight.
