Horizon Zero Dawn Will Expand its Story in a DLC

Horizon Zero Dawn

It has not been even a month, and Horizon Zero Dawn is already digging its place in history. Apart from the amazing reviews that it’s generating, sales are looking incredibly good on their side. So good, in fact, that Guerrilla Games has hinted at additional DLC to expand the already fantastic story.

Sony announced yesterday that the game sold more than 2.6 million of copies worldwide during its first two weeks. This makes Horizon Zero Dawn the best-selling new IP from Sony for PlayStation 4 so far and certainly uplifts Guerrilla Games to the industry’s hall of fame. The Overkill series already brought attention to them as a development studio. But it’s their ambitious post-apocalyptic story has really turned the tide for them.

Much More to Discover in Horizon Zero Dawn

Guerrilla has also taken the occasion to confirm interesting plans for their game. Apart from acknowledging those juicy sales, Guerrilla’s managing director spoke a little bit about a future story-driven DLC. “This is only the beginning of Aloy’s story,”, Hermen Hulst said, “and our exploration of the world of Horizon Zero Dawn, with the team already hard at work on an expansion”.

If you remember, the game came out without any official statement regarding DLC, expansions or Season Pass plans so any confirmation that opens up more content is definitely great. Guerrilla has created a compelling world of their own, and it will be epic to see it grow.

Of course, details about this DLC have yet to be disclosed. In the meantime, how are you liking the game, Fanatics? What´s your favorite aspect about it? Let us know in the comment section down below!
