Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns — Hits DS Today

The summer drought has started to end, but Nintendo fans have had to fall on their backlogs for any worthwhile experiences. That changes today with Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, from Natsume inc., for the Nintendo DS.

According to the press release, players will be able to “pick a home, build a thriving farm, and compete in a huge variety of festivals.” Eventually, you will be able to reunite two once-neighborly towns who have been separated by disputes over cooking. If that doesn’t convince you, perhaps the enthusiasm of Natsume President and CEO Hiro Maekawa will:

“We are thrilled that Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns is now available for the Nintendo DS. We’re sure die-hard fans of the series and newcomers alike will love the latest title in the Harvest Moon series!”

Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns is rated E by the ESRB, and is available now for DS and 3DS systems everywhere. If you can wait, a version specifically for 3DS will be available October 11, 2011.
