For some of us, Christmas comes late, but better late than never in the case of PlayStation Plus games. PlayStation Blog just announced six new titles that will be given to Plus members.
Here are your free games for PS Plus subscribers for January 2016
Hardware: Rivals (PS4)
“Hardware: Rivals is an explosive, over the top, vehicle combat game where you pit yourself against other drivers in heavy tanks or fast attack vehicles.”
Grim Fandango: Remastered (PS4)
“One of the most acclaimed adventure games of all time is back, and yes; it is better than ever. In Double Fine’s class romp, experience the incredible story of Manny Calavera, travel agent to the dead. You’ll explore four years in the life (or death) of Manny, and there’s never been a better time to play, with entirely remastered visuals, sound and controls.”
Dragon Age: Origins (PS3)
“You are a Grey Warden, one of the last of a legendary order of guardians. With the return of an ancient foe and the kingdom engulfed in civil war, you have been chosen by fate to unite the shattered lands and slay an archdemon once and for all. Start your adventure by picking your race as a Human, Elf, or Dwarf, then your class as a Warrior, Mage, or Rogue. Then after that, it is all up to you. The choices you make guide the path you take through the Ninth Age: The Dragon Age.”
Medal of Honor: Warfighter (PS3)
“Inspired by actual events across the globe and written by real Tier 1 Operators while deployed overseas, follow the global Warfighters as they are asked to take on a real terror threat, PETN.”
Nihilumbra (Vita)
“Discover the beautiful world of Nihilumbra and join Born on his adventure to find himself whilst trying to escape from his inevitable curse.
Born was created from the absolute nothingness: The Void. But somehow he separates himself from the black emptiness and appears in the world. This is where his long odyssey begins, in which he will learn how to use the colors around him to gain powerful abilities and transform the world.”
Legends of War: Patton (Vita)
“Assume the role of General Patton, Commander of the US Third Army, from the beaches of northern France to the capital of Germany.”
These games will become free to PlayStation Plus members on January 5th. Until then, you can download Gauntlet: Slayer Edition (PS4), King’s Quest – Chapter One: A Knight to Remember (PS4), Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (PS3), SSX (PS3), Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken (Vita), and Freedom Wars (Vita) for free on PlayStation Plus.
