The God of War franchise may be due for a new installment utilizing the Playstation 4. Recently, rumors suggested that a new God of War game was in the works and a new tweet by the developers may confirm that. With the lack of exclusives for both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One at launch, its expected that both parties will showcase exclusive titles at E3. With this new rumor, Kratos may be in attendance next week at Sony’s E3 press conference, which we recently predicted what will become of that.
Sony’s Santa Monica Studio tweeted a possible tease to a God of War 4 reveal at E3. The tweet said, “The Gods have spoken once again, maybe they are just excited for #E3 #earthquake #LA” There is no telling for sure what this means, but with the inclusion of “Gods” followed by an E3 hashtag, it may be a good bet that God of War will be a part of Sony’s conference on June 9th.
Could this tweet mean a God of War 4 reveal for Playstation 4 at E3? It’ll be interesting to see if Sony’s conference validates these rumors.
