Get Ready with Paragon Essentials Edition

Epic Games has released a physical edition of its MOBA, Paragon. The edition will come with a host of goodies to get players started.

The physical edition for PlayStation 4 will feature instant access to the beta as well as several other features. This edition of Paragon will be sold for $59.99, but will feature an $100 value in downloadable features. The features include 6,000 Paragon coins, which is valued at $60. The coins can be spent on Master Challenges, skins, boosts and some other content that has yet to be announced. This sounds like it might be a good investment.

Additionally, there are five Hero Master Challenges included. Completing the challenges will give your character a permanent XP Boost, a skin and other unique rewards. The challenges will be for the Twinblast, Sevarog, Iggy & Scorch, GRIM.exe and Riktor heroes.

Some new skins will also be available, including the edition-exclusive Wasteland Twinblast Skin. Buying this edition is the only way to obtain the skin. Other skins include War Chief Grux, Energized Dekker, Autumn Fire Sparrow and Bronze Warden Riktor. Finally, players will be able to use five Rep Boosts. These boosts will last for three wins. As players increase their reputations they’ll be able to get card packs and more Master Challenges. If you’re itching to join the Paragon action, this seems like a perfect way to gain entry and get some extra swag as well.

Currently, Paragon is in paid early access, with an open beta that will happen during the summer. However, the Paragon Essentials Edition will let you jump right in. The edition is currently available at most games retailers. Go check it out at your local GameStop, Best Buy, Target and Walmart. You can also go the online route and order the game on Amazon.

Paragon is a third person MOBA that promises to be pretty action packed. Find more information on the official web site.
