Gamers Outreach Needs A Hand

Charity work isn’t just a game, it’s hard work. But the reward of bringing joy to others is a whole new level of fun. The Gamers Outreach Foundation is an organization dedicated to helping others by sending them video games. I’m pretty sure we can all agree that’s a great way to help.

Their programs are just as fantastic. Project GO Kart allows hospital patients easy access to video games via kiosks on wheels. This means less fuss in moving the games around, so more people get to play. Fun For Our Troops is very straightforward, but no less impactful. Gamers Outreach sends care packages full of games overseas, boosting morale and providing a safe, fun way to relieve stress. Finally, Gaming4Others is a series of fundraising events sponsored by the foundation.

They have lots of games, but that can only last so long. If you’d like to get involved, visit their website here. From there, you can find ways to donate, spread the word, or volunteer. You can check their Facebook page, too, right here.

It really is hard to overstate just how cool what Gamers Outreach Foundation is. They give great people awesome games, and there’s nothing objectionable about that.
