20th Century Fox premiered Wilfred on FX, June 23 of last year and its season two premier is Thursday, June 28th, 2012. Wilfred is a dark comedy that begins with a suicide note and unfolds into awkward hilarity. It portrays an eccentric Elijah Wood (Ryan Newman) who has an imaginary friend/neighbor dog, Wilford (Jason Gann) and gives me a feeling of a lighter more comedic Donnie Darko.
Fox Home Entertainment is releasing the DVD and Blu-ray season one collection of Wilfred Tuesday, June 19th, 2012. So you can either refresh before the season two premier or catch up.
