The Motorola Droid can currently claim the title of being the world thinnest Android smartphone at 7.1mm thick, but it looks as if it may soon be dethroned by a newly announced phone being manufactured by Fujitsu. Yes at a tiny 6.7mm thick the Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F can lay its claim to being the world thinnest Android smartphone.
If the ARROWS ES IS12F peaks your interest I’m sorry to say that unless you live in Japan you wont be able to buy this phone as it will land there next month. However, after you read the specs I doubt you would want to pick it up. The ARROWS ES IS12F features a 4″ 800 x 480 OLED display , a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal Storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, CDAM and GSM support, a 1,400mAh battery and runs on Android Gingerbread. This is definitely a super low end phone. For those who live in the US, and really want this phone there is no word on when or if it will reach stateside.
