The First Rocket League DLC Has Been Outlined

After a very successful launch on PlayStation Plus, the first Rocket League DLC pack has been outlined.

In a post on the official PlayStation blog, Psyonix thanked fans for the success of the title so far before delving in and giving us full details on the first DLC pack, as well as information on incoming free updates to the title.

Called the “Supersonic Fury” pack, it was already established that this first Rocket League DLC pack would contain two new vehicles for players to drive. These two new cars are the American muscle themed “Dominus,” and the Japanese street racer “Takumi.” Both vehicles will come with their own set of six different decal variations.

Also included in the “Supersonic Fury” DLC will be two Rocket Boosts, two new wheel sets, five new types of paint to customize your vehicle with, as well as some new trophies. You can get the two new cars, as well as the collection of customization options for only $3.99.

On top of the DLC pack outline, the post also goes in to some detail on an upcoming free update to Rocket League. This update will include the game’s first brand new map, called Utopia Colosseum, along with over 70 new country flags. Also included in the free update will be the “Spectator Mode,” which of course will allow players to watch live games as they occur. Other updates will be applied, Goal explosions and Demolitions being examples cited in the post.

The first Rocket League DLC pack will be available in the early portion of August.
