There is finally some more information on Final Fantasy X HD, although it is still not much. Check out the feature video for your first look.
During Sony‘s Vita broadcast, after eighteen months, Final Fantasy X HD was shown for a few seconds in its HD glory. The HD version of the tenth Final Fantasy installment is still in development and we still have zero news on when it will be released. It seems that Sony put together this video to show the world that indeed they are still working on the HD version of Final Fantasy X. What we do know is that Final Fantasy X will be releasing for the PS Vita and the Ps3 sometime in the future.
Final Fantasy X helped shape the Ps2 in the same respect that Final Fantasy 7 shaped the PsX. Released back in 2001, Final Fantasy X is regarded as one of the best Final Fantasy games in the series, despite the odd and sometimes rushed, voice acting. It was the first Final Fantasy game to use voice actors instead of using text for dialogue. It is also the first Final Fantasy game to receive a sequel, Final Fantasy X-2, which took place two years after the events of Final Fantasy X. As of right now, only FFX will be getting the HD treatment and not FFX-2 or any other Final Fantasy game for that matter. At least for the time being. If sales for Final Fantasy X HD are astonishing, it might be safe to assume that other Final Fantasy games might get the HD treatment as well.
