Final Fantasy X Getting More Than An HD Remake

A few months back we reported that Final Fantasy X will get an HD treatment and will be released for Ps3 and Vita for their tenth anniversary. Now reports are coming in that FFX might not only get a graphical remake but a complete overall. Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of FFX has stated that FFX will be a full remake of the 2001 Ps2 game. This rumor started when Kitase sat down for an interview with M!, a German magaizne. The rumor is that FFX will be based off of Final Fantasy XIII’s HD engine and that the Aeons (summons), character design and locations will be getting the remake treatment as well.

This could be a good or bad thing. Many gamers love FFX for what it is and a remake of said game could break those happy thoughts of Yuna’s pilgrimage.
