Far Cry Insanity Invades Minecraft!

This week, Ubisoft released a huge map and texture pack inspired by Far Cry 3 for Minecraft which is now for FREE on the PC!

This pack is huge! The pack  allows users to explore and survive the Minecraft insanity with the same eyes as in Far Cry 3. All aspects of the original game from the environment, weapons and tools have all been modified to fit this pack. Throughout your survival you’ll be able to discover key Far Cry 3 locations and characters such as Vaas, Jason and Citra, all redesigned with that Minecraft fashion! For those of you keen explorers, be sure to be watching out for over 50 Easter Eggs hidden throughout the Islands.

Modded by the well known Minecraft enthusiast, Michael Lambert (Sacr3, creator of Newcraft City) and artists Axel Janssen and Yohan Delcourt are responsible for the textures themselves. This Far Cry 3 inspired pack is being released directly through the Far Cry official website.

Far Cry 3 itself is to be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 29th EMEA and on December 4th in the United States.
