As the Xbox Games Showcase concluded, one final premier was dropped like an atomic bomb: a brand new Fable. Finally, the ever elusive RPG/Adventure series has been revived by Microsoft with Fable III nearly reaching its 10th anniversary with no news of a 4th. Admittedly, the teaser didn’t reveal much so no release date is in sight. Developer Playground Games did showcase faeries, giant toads, and the stapled humor of the series so we did get a taste of things to come.
As if the Xbox Game Pass wasn’t already bolstered as the best deal in console gaming today, Microsoft announced that Fable, like other first-party constituents, will be released for Game Pass subscribers at launch. If you have an Xbox or a PC Game Pass is certainly a must own for all.
