Exclusive Xbox One EA Subscription Service Announced

EA announced today a new subscription service exclusive to Xbox One that will start at just $4.99 a month or $29.99 annually.

EA Access will give players access to The Vault, which will open up a collection of EA games. When it launches, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4 will be the games that gamers can play through the service. These games aren’t the only ones you will be able to play through EA Access, as more will be added in the future.

With an EA Access account, you will be given 10% off on all EA games in the Xbox Game Store. This includes full games or even DLC.

Also included in an EA Access account is the ability to play trials of games up to a week before they officially release. Unlike most game demos, your progress will actually carry over if you choose to purchase the whole game, so you don’t have to replay the beginning to get to where you left off in the trial.

The subscription service will be available to everyone soon, as well as an option of purchasing it at local GameStop stores.

For all the details on this new program, go to EA’s official website.

What do you think of the new EA Access service? Will you be purchasing it? Let us know in the comments below!
