EA is Giving Away a Seven-Day Free Trial of Origin Access

Origin Access

Always wondered what was Origin Access all about? Well, if you belong to the ranks of the curious, and want to give it a shot, this is as good time as any. EA has announced that they are granting a full 7-days free trial for everyone. As a reminder, Origin Access is a PC subscription that gets you some benefits as well as opening the Games Vault of EA.

In order to benefit from this offer, you simply need to purchase a $5 monthly subscription or a $30 yearly one. After that, you can enjoy all its services like you would normally do. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t get charged. There are two downsides to this. First, there’s no official word on when this offer will end (apart from the enthusiastic “Limited time only!” tag). Second, the trial does not seem to have a parallel on the Xbox subscription, the so-called EA Access.

However, it’s quite unlikely that EA will extend the trial for too many weeks ahead, considering that they are granting a 10-hours trial of Mass Effect: Andromeda on March 16 for all subscribers of both programs. But if you are interested in trying it out, hey, it’s for free!
