EA Dice’s Roland Smedburg Snipes COD Trailer, Hints At Battlefield 5 Trailer

Shots Fired: Roland Smedburg’s incendiary tweets roast the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer and hint at a possible Friday reveal for the new Battlefield 5 trailer.

Senior Video & Media Director/Editor Roland Smedburg hurled a couple of flash bang tweets today. The first scoffed at the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer:

Today I watched the new COD trailer. How quaint! Those cute little free-cam shots, precious 2010 graphics and grade school editing! Quaint!:joy:

After his first tweet Smedburg went on the counter offensive and followed up with:

@SkyS1gn Come Friday the Internet will melt.

This we can only presume hails the imminent release of a trailer for the upcoming – and much hyped – Battlefield 5. The tweets, aside from being tongue-in-cheek entertaining, highlight the rivalry between the two franchises, and in this industry competition keeps things fresh. Rather than getting dragged into Twitter battles – as many have done – over the issue, lets save our battles for when we play these two games. Both of which are sure to be massive hits for their respective fan bases.
