E3 2014 | Fantasy Type-0 Coming West

Square Enix have revealed that the fan favorite Final Fantasy Type-0, originally released on the PSP in Japan is now confirmed to be coming over except not on PSP, or PS Vita (as an error on the PlayStation Blog suggested) but on both PS4 and Xbox One.

No release date is confirmed. The only information we have is that it’s coming ‘soon’. “The voice of our Western fans was instrumental in the development of Final Fantasy Type-0, and we’re very excited to release this title soon. The new PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One gaming and entertainment platform have really helped to re-envision this dynamic and turbulent world of Orience“- Hajime Tabata

It was not revealed in an E3 2014 conference but only online afterwardsAlthough the PlayStation Blog originally stated that it was coming to both PS4 and PS Vita, they corrected it, stating:

Correction – this post originally stated Final Fantasy Type-O HD is in development for PS Vita. It is in fact in development for PS4.

Do you, like us, wish that it was releasing on the PS Vita? Or will you be picking it up on PS4/Xbox One? Let us know in the comments bellow! Or Tweet us with your thoughts.
