The Walking Dead the game won’t be exactly like The Walking Dead graphic novel nor the TV show we are all familiar with. It will take place in the same universe, but it will feature a new cast of characters. Gamers will be playing as convicted criminal named Lee whose escort vehicle is attacked by zombies during the outbreak. While trying to navigate the madness, Lee ends up meeting a 7-year-old girl named Clementine and takes him with her as they fight for survival.
Although departing from the main characters of both the graphic novel and the TV show, Robert Kirkman is helping oversee the games direction, ensuring that the video game entry to the series is true to The Walking Dead universe. Like the graphic novel and show, the game will span from killing zombies to examining humanity and relationships.

There is not a set release date nor platform information for The Walking Dead at this time, but I’m sure it’s safe to assume the platforms will be along the lines of other TellTale games.
