Dragon Age II Takes a Rogue Approach

Dragon Age II is getting a lot of evil stairs since it’s starting to shape up into a medieval version of the Mass Effect saga. As long as Bioware can pull this off correctly, I am fine with whatever changes they want to make.

Recently Bioware announced the Rogue class for Dragon Age II. Even though they lack the power and brute stregth of a warrior, they are great with range weapons, making bombs, traps and great with fighting with two weapons.

You are able to choose three specializations for the rogue class: shadow, dualist and assassin. Depending on which you choose to perfect your rogue with you will be able to use stealth, taunt your enemies and attack with both weapons or find the weakness in your opponent and all of which can be an asset to the team.

With the addition to Mass Effect’s conversation wheel and more detail and color to the characters and surroundings it seems that Dragon Age II will be a game to watch in 2011.
