It’s a new year, Fanatics! You don’t want to miss out on these games that are available from now until February 5, 2019. With a decent lineup from last month, let’s take a look at what Sony is giving us for this month’s PlayStation Plus games.

PlayStation Plus - January 2019 01

PlayStation 4

  • Steep
  • Portals Knight

First game we have up for PlayStation Plus on the PS4 is Steep. Need a thrill on some snowy mountain slopes? Steep gives you a massive open world of the Alps. Drop in on the most vast mountain slopes whether it be by skis, wingsuits, snowboards and paragliders. You can either play solo or compete side by side with friends and other players. The Alps is yours to explore, and how you choose to ride to victory is up to you.

Next game to round up the PS4 is Portal Knights. Check out this action-RPG as you try to prove yourself a Portal Knight! Explore this awesome world alone or team up with three other friends. Level up your character, craft weapons and defeat enemies in this real-time multiplayer. Choose between a warrior, ranger and mage as you go through randomly-generated islands. This is a fun-filled game you don’t want to miss!

  • Zone of the Enders HD Collection
  • Amplitude

Now moving onto the PS3 games, first up we have is Zone of the Enders HD Collection (Z.O.E.). Now is the time to relive the action in HD! Taking the lead of the character Leo Steanbuck, Z.O.E. HD Collection is a hack and slash third-person shooter. This game includes all the European Special Edition version of Z.O.E.: The 2nd Runner. It also includes new opening animations by the amazing animation studio Sunrise. With that being said, you are ranked through a series of events in the game and graded for the ending outcome. So give this game a whirl!

Last up for the PS3 games is Amplitude. This game is a reboot of the cult classic game released in 2003 on the PS2. It also features over 30 songs that was created with excellent beatmatching by developers of Harmonix. Aside from blasting through songs, the game has a narrative that is shown in many ways through the visuals, music and song lyrics. Play this game solo or through multiplayer.   • Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (cross-buy)
  • Super Mutant Alien Assault

Last but not least is the PS Vita games. The first game we have on the list that is also cross-buy with the PS4 is Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion. In this intense action-RPG, every fierce battle and terrible choice you have to make impacts the realm. Travel through the ruined continent and take back what’s yours as you battle enemy hordes. Will you side with the ruthless general or execute soldiers for your comrades? The choice is yours!

To end January’s games, last up is Super Mutant Alien Assault. In this brutal platformer, you must clear your space freighter in randomized rooms filled with alien invaders. Unlock weapons, explosives, special abilities and defense moves to help take your ship back. Play this indie game either in solo mode or with a friend. Save the humans in this arcade platformer!
