Django Unchained, the newest film from Quentin Tarantino, was given one last trailer before its Christmas Day release.
We couldn’t be more excited to not open presents in the morning. Tarantino’s latest film stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a former black slave recruited by bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christopher Waltz). His task is to kill the Brittle Brothers. In return, he’ll be freed from slavery. Schultz will also help Django attempt to rescue his wife, who’s imprisoned on the plantation of a one Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio). He’ll also presumably kill a lot of other people. I mean, this is a Tarantino movie after all.
Django Unchained marks the debut in the Western genre for Tarantino. It also marks the first time that Tarantino works with DiCaprio. While in his early days the girls would swoon over Leo, nowadays I swoon over how great of an actor he is. Anyone who isn’t looking forward to his performance in Django is lying.
But enough chit chat, here’s the trailer. And yes, it had our attention but now it has our curiosity.
