Gaming start-up GIC is going to be at E3 this year showcasing their high tech take on one of the oldest gaming accessories in history…the Chance Cube. DICE+ updates the standard multi-sided die with LED back lights, anti-cheat roll detection and bluetooth connectivity. It will retail for between $30 and $40 when it becomes available later this year and is said to be compatible with iOS, Android, Symbian, Linux and Windows…although we’ll probably have to wait for E3 to find out exactly which platforms will be available at launch. As a veteran pen and paper player (yes, I played Dungeons and Dragons), the idea of high tech programmable dice is pretty awesome.
