Now you can relive all of Dante’s adventures in HD and earn new achievements and trophies along the way.

All these ridiculous hack-slash-and shoot combos are going to look great on my HDTV

The original Devil May Cry was released way back in 2001 and introduced gamers to the half-demon, half-human demon hunter Dante, out to avenge his mother’s death toting twin pistols, a big sword and a rockstar attitude. One of the hallmarks of the series has been the over the top action emphasizing stylish combos using Dante’s sword, guns and demonic abilities as well as a host of acrobatic stunts. The original game has since spawned three sequels and the entire franchise has sold over 10 million units. Ninja Theory is currently working on the next game in the series, DMC: Devil May Cry which takes place in a paralell universe, seperate from the rest of the series, featuring a different take on Dante. A release date has not been confirmed as of yet for the newest title, but in the meantime we can all stroll down memory lane with this collection of the first three hit games. Well, maybe not stroll…more like rush through with guns blazing. Devil May Cry: HD Collection is now available at retailers everywhere on PS3 and Xbox 360 for $39.99
