Destiny Beta live with Companion App on iOS and Android

If you own a PS3 or PS4 you’re in luck. You can now access the Destiny Beta after you preorder the game. For those of you who played the Alpha you know this is quite a treat. In addition to the Destiny Beta servers going live Bungie also released a Companion app for iOS and Android.

With this app you can watch your progress, look at missions, bounties, and statistics. It’s launched for Android and iOS with iPad support at launch; there are no plans to support Windows phones.

Now for some protips…

If you want to play the app but don’t have a smartphone (or your phone doesn’t support iOS or Android) you can access the app via the web.

If you want a Destiny Beta code stat the best thing to do is pre-order through Amazon. As of now (the 17th) they’re sending codes right after you checkout. Once you have your beta code, you redeem the download code from the Bungie website. You’ll get three download codes so you can pass them out to people who haven’t preordered!
