Visceral Games has announced DLC to be released this March for Dead Space 3. Just when you thought your battle against the Necromorphs was over, Dead Space 3 Awakened will throw you back into it with the darkest chapters ever experienced in the series. The battle against the Necromorphs only grows more gruesome and intense with Awakened. Dead Space 3 Awakened will extend the gameplay and give players more of the same terrifying third-person action they have experienced throughout the Dead Space series.
Dead Space 3 launched with 11 pieces of Day One DLC, which includes materials for the crafting system, sped-up loot collection for new suits, and new weapons for Isaac Clarke’s arsenal. Plus, if you purchase the game pre-owned, the online pass will be available for $9.99 on PlayStation Network and PC via Origin, and for 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360. Dead Space 3 Awakened will not be released until sometime next month, which does give players a chance to purchase the already released DLC now. Electronic Arts and Visceral Games have not revealed a firm release date for the DLC.
Dead Space 3 was released on February 5th with an all new drop in and drop out co-op option, and new gameplay mechanics and features. It’s available on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
