Dead Rising 3 | Psychopath Boss Battles

In Capcom’s Dead Rising 3, zombies aren’t main character Nick’s only hazard to contend with…there’s also the regular people driven insane by the zombie apocalypse. Psychopaths are survivors of the outbreak that have lost their marbles due to harrowing events surrounding them. As Nick encounters each one while traveling throughout the fictional city of Los Perdidos, he’ll be drawn into boss-type battles against these unfortunate individuals that include an Asian immigrant, a female professional wrestler and bodybuilder, a motorcycle gang leader and a spoiled adult who plays video games all day.

Each of these “boss battles” will include a different set of circumstances and mechanics. The Asian immigrant will toss rocks at you after you mess with his Zen garden, the bodybuilder will toss weights and attack with wrestling moves and the motorcycle gang leader (pictured above) will appear like something out of a “Mad Max” film, embracing the apocalypse on a souped up death machine. The strangest of these psychopaths has to be the spoiled gamer, who you find locked up in his mansion refusing help because he just has to finish one more level. No details have been released just yet on what you’ll have to do in this encounter, beyond wading through empty chip bags and soda cans.

Dead Rising 3 is slated for release later this year as a launch title exclusively for the Xbox One.
