With the latest zombie craze, we’ve gotten a lot of zombie-centric games within the last few years. Probably one of the biggest ones was 2011’s Dead Island and there looks to be a Definitive Edition on the way.
The Dead Island: Definitive Edition is listed on a South African website. The platform options include Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Many definitive editions feature the game and all of its DLC. We can only assume that this edition would feature improved graphics, higher resolution, and frame rates.
Developer Deep Silver has yet to officially announce Dead Island: Definitive Edition, but it’s not unheard of for retailers to out a game before developers are ready to publicly announce it.
There’s no information of a release date on the game’s listing, but we will update you as soon as more information drops. Definitive editions and remastered titles are growing in popularity among developers during this generation of consoles, so this whole rumor wouldn’t be out of the question, really. In my opinion, Dead Island had one of the best trailers for a game in a long time. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it. Seriously.
