Dark Souls, the successor to the popular Demon Souls is receiving standing ovations from crowds at GamesCom. While the game itself could be summed up at as a clone of Demon Souls with improved features. that hasn’t stopped everyone including myself from loving it. Four new videos have been released showcasing more of the games gameplay including a small skirmish with a boss monster. Dark Souls is exactly that of Demon Souls, a hardcore game designed to push every gamer to their limits, and then beyond those limits. If you consider yourself a hardcore gamer, and like to fight against immeasurable odds, then Dark Souls will be the game for you this year. If you do decide to pick up Dark Souls, I highly recommend that you purchase Demon Souls first and get your mind and body prepared for what awaits you in this sequel.
