Dark Horse and Bioware Announce New Dragon Age Comic Mini-series

Those looking to once again delve into the expanded lore of the Dragon Age universe will get their chance soon enough with an all new three issue comic mini-series penned by none other than David Gaider, lead writer for the Dragon Age series. Gaider teams up with Alexander Freed, senior writer for Star Wars: The Old Republic on the new series entitled Dragon Age: Those Who Speak. King Alistair, accompanied by the pirate captain Isabela and the underworld merchant Varric travels to an empire of evil mages to uncover the fate of his lost father.

Gaider also penned the previous Dragon Age miniseries The Silent Grove and our own Greg DeVries reviewed the first issue. You can check out that review here. Greg also got a chance to interview Mr. Gaider on a previous episode of our G-spot podcast which can check out here. A complete hardcover collection of The Silent Grove will be available on July 25. The first issue of Those Who Speak will be hitting stands on August 22. For more info on the both comic mini-series, check out Dark Horse’s official site.
