While people weren’t really thrilled with Crackdown 2, citing the reuse of the city, repetitive missions, one thing that bothered people, was taking a very vibrant city and muting all the colors to gray and brown.
In an interview with MTV Multiplayer, James Cope of Ruffian Games announced plans for two DLC packs for the sandbox sequel, one of which will brighten at least your armor up a bit:
“The expansion of the armor colors becomes much more vibrant and radical from the Agency’s approved perspective as we start looking at DLC.”
The Toybox, the first DLC to be released, will bring back Keys to the City mode. First appearing in the aptly named Free-For-All pack in Crackdown, this is essentially a debug/fun mode that turns the game into your own personal amusement park (or at least makes the rides more fun).
For more insight into the process of a new studio picking up where another left off (and trying to do it in 1/3 of the time), the article is a good read for Crackdown fans.
