Check Out These Flash Drives We saw at SXSW!

To celebrate the 133rd anniversary of Albert Einstein’s birth (March 14th, 1879), Boston-based design house Mimoco is unveiling two brand-new Einstein x MIMOBOT characters at SXSW.

Emcee2 Einstein MIMOBOT re-imagines the iconic physicist as a record-spinning, techno beat-blasting DJ master sporting designer headphones. Emcee2 Einstein MIMOBOT reflects the physicist’s other great passion: Music. Indeed, the man who gave us the Theory of Relativity was also quoted as saying, “If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician.” Make Einstein’s wish come true! You don’t have to develop the unified theory, just be sure to store and transport all your mp3’s, as well as your scientific data on your Emcee2 Einstein MIMOBOT flash drive.

Brainstein MIMOBOT showcases, well, Dr. Einstein’s magnificent brain matter in all its gory glory! The Brainstein MIMOBOT, originally created by Michal Miszta as an entry into Mimoco’s Unmasked Design Challenge in partnership with Infectious, provided the spark for the Einstein™ x MIMOBOT series. This character cuts right to the chase. Who needs that bushy head of hair?! Let’s see the amazing brain from which all Einstein’s theories emanated! Well, okay! The Brainstein design celebrates the bulging mind of the good doctor, and is the perfect portable storage device for all your data, from complex cosmic theorems to pictures from that vacation in the Caribbean. With up to 64GB of memory, Brainstein MIMOBOT is always the smartest flash drive in the room.
