CES 2012: 50 Cent Unveils New Range of SMS Audio Products

50 Cent has been a busy man; first he decided to become a famous rapper, next he made two games and now he’s turned his attention to the world of audio technology. This years CES see’s the unveiling of a new product range from his company SMS Audio.

50 himself will be personally highlighting the brand new Sync by 50 wireless headphones and Street by 50 wired headphones:
“Music is my passion and it was important to me to create products that provide listeners with a first-class audio experience. I am proud of the first wave of products from SMS Audio and I’m confident that the new products unveiled at CES will continue to impress.” –  50 Cent, CEO of SMS Audio.
The first standout product in the SMS audio is the Sync by 50 headphones, integrating 40mm drivers with Kleer® wireless technology, making them the only wireless headphone to incorporate full on-board controls for an unparalleled, crystal-clear wireless range. Up to four listeners can simultaneously rock from a single source with the included 3.5mm wireless transmitter which allows for a 50-foot range. Unlike standard Bluetooth wireless headphones, Kleer technology gives Sync by 50 16-bit digital sound and boasts longer battery life, less interference and no feedback – which means better overall sound quality.

The wireless headphones are passive noise-canceling and feature an “S” indicator light to denote when the headset is synced. Battery life is up to 17 hours and users can easily plug in the included cable to keep the music playing without interruption. Made with plush, memory-foam cushions, wrapped in leather for five-star comfort, Sync by 50 headphones are offered in Shadow Black and Ghost White and include hard-shell carrying case, adaptors, wireless transmitter, wired microphone cable and micro USB charging cable.

Available in two color variations, Shadow Black and Phantom Blue, Street by 50 is an exceptional wired-style headphone equipped with professionally-tuned 40mm drivers to deliver crisp clean sound, enhanced bass and passive noise-canceling capabilities. Made with durable, ultra-flexible polymer, Street by 50 offers a built-tough audio experience and includes a removable cable with microphone, adaptors and carrying case.

Seen for the first time at CES, SMS Audio announces Street by 50 DJ™ – a wired headphone in DJ styling – and Street by 50 In-ear™ – high-end, in-ear headphones – as the newest additions to the already-popular audio brand. Also joining the collection are economical earbud models and audio accessories, allowing both general consumers and audiophiles to maximize their full audio experience.

The Sync by 50 and Street by 50 are ranges now available at SMS Audio’s website  with an MSRP of $399.95 and $299.95, respectively.  In a recent partnership with Feeding America®, all online U.S. sales through SMSAudio.com will provide 250 meals to American families in need beginning January 17, 2012. Street by 50 DJ, Street by 50 In-ear and other new additions to SMS Audio’s product offerings will be available for purchase in 2012.
