A Hat In Time is a nostalgia-fueled 3D platformer where you travel to colorful worlds and find hats that give you new abilities. It suffers from issues with pacing and some gameplay elements but ultimately proves an enjoyable time.

Battle Chef Brigade, from Trinket Studios and Adult Swim Games, is a loveable mishmash of genres that supersedes the sum of its parts to be one of the year’s most unique and enjoyable experiences. While there are some minor annoyances, they’re easy to look back with a winning gameplay formula, a strong cast of characters, and a world that’s easy to get lost in.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon are the definitive versions of the seventh generation Pokémon games, but not a whole lot more.
